Nomadic Image is a photographers' collective that relies upon the existing membership to rent the gallery and create such innovative and provocative shows. Members pay $10 per linear foot per month to showcase their work in our space.

We exhibit 6 shows per year, each two months long. The shows rotate between a portfolio showcase of individual work and a thematic showcase of a collective body produced by the members. Thematic shows are loose enough to allow each artist to work in their preferred medium while still contributing to the collective theme concept.

Each show has two openings the first Saturday of each month and the gallery hosts regular events throughout the month to introduce new people to the space. Average attendance is about 1,700 visitors per 2-month run.

Participating artists are free to use their creative inspritation to install their work as well as promote themselves and their photographic businesses. This is first and foremost a fine-art gallery and as such the gallery does maintain certain minumum standards for installations though there is no portfolio review to join.

Sales are commission free though sales tax must be collected.
